Hi, I’m Sam.
36 and counting.
Pisces by zodiac, so dreamer by nature.
Father to two brilliant girls. Husband to one amazing wife (hope she reads this).
Sidekick to Dex, the dog.
Happily rooted in Haarlem.

I do a lot and a little, all at once.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve crafted a career at the crossroads of creativity and collaboration. I’ve co-founded festivals, transformed abandoned spaces into cultural hubs, managed creative teams, and brought ideas to life through branding, programming, copywriting, and more. From shaping A’DAM&Co. into a thriving members club to building Nomads Festival from a kitchen-table idea to a sold-out Amsterdam tradition, I thrive on turning vision into reality. Really, I do.

I work. I run. I sing (every day). I try to meditate (twice a day, on a good one, rarely happens now-a-days with two girls and a dog).
I write poetry and read it, too. I’m always creating, whether it’s brainstorming bold concepts or digging for treasures in thrift shops. Music is my constant soundtrack, and I spend more time than I should trying to crack the mysteries of the universe.

I’m a team player — 26 years on the football pitch taught me that. I lead with ease, steering projects and people toward their best, though I’ll admit my wife is the true leader in and out of the house.
